I was a reminded of my dad  wishing he gave my mum more flowers, and everytime I saw a flower that stood out I would think of my mum and whisper thats from dad. I started to take photos of flowers when I was out and about, and I came up with a speical honor for both my parents so I dedicated my flower designs in memory of my mum the collection I called CATHYLOVE. Now she can have flowers all the time, and not only that other people can enjoy the flower designs too!  

Have you ever felt a deep connection to a place that brings you joy and peace? Shelly, a long-time resident of Western Australia, has such a connection with Tomato Lake. From her childhood to her golden years, Tomato Lake has been a constant source of comfort and happiness for her. A Childhood Haven As a child, Shelly would spend hours riding her bike around Tomato Lake, feeling the wind in her hair and the sun on her face. She would also eagerly collect tadpoles from the lake, marveling at the wonders of nature. These simple pleasures shaped her love for the lake from a young age. A Teenage Retreat During her teenage years, Tomato Lake became a place of solace for Shelly. Amidst the challenges of adolescence, she found peace and tranquility by the serene waters of the lake. The changing seasons mirrored her own growth and transformation. An Adult Sanctuary As an adult, Shelly continued to frequent Tomato Lake, seeking refuge from the demands of everyday life. The lake became a sanctuary where she could reflect, recharge, and find clarity. It was a place where she could be herself, away from the hustle and bustle of the world. A Family Tradition Shelly's connection to Tomato Lake extended to her family as well. She brought her children to the lake, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime. Years later, she introduced her granddaughter to the magic of the lake, passing down the tradition of love and appreciation for this special place. A Spiritual Bond Through the years, Shelly has witnessed the changes in Tomato Lake as the seasons come and go. Despite the passage of time, her spiritual connection to the lake remains unwavering. It is a place that fills her heart with joy and her soul with peace, a sacred sanctuary that she holds dear. Tomato Lake is more than just a body of water for Shelly – it is a place of memories, growth, and spiritual connection. It is where she finds solace, inspiration, and a sense of belonging. As she continues to visit the lake, she knows that it will always be a source of comfort and happiness for her, a timeless haven in a changing world.

 My mum would come up with so many ideas to try and make me rethink about my decision and one of her ideas was me putting my photos on placemats, mugs, postcards, calendars. Sadly my mother died in 2021.  I never went back taking photos until 2023 I had turmoil few lifechanging events that found me  falling back into deep depression, and one day when I was walking to work I noticed this tree and I was amazing at the patterns on the bark so I took a photo, then slowly wherever  I walked all nature trees, flowers, bushes, clouds had me amazed again, they all stood out like it was a sign from my mum in heaven. So then  the journey began again.   I  soon discovered Shopify & Printify which I sat for days thinking should I do this, and I gazed over at my mums picture and sense of strength and encouragement came over me and I took a risk and now I have my very own store!  I often wish my mum was still here to see my progress in life , but I do believe that she is my angel and is guiding me and helping me through this journey these greatest life lessons

I loved hearing her stories about a speical childhood tree ( Tree Man) which has been a part of her life for over 30 years, as well of hearing her stories of Tomato Lake, Western Australia. What actually inspired me to capture tree faces was the Tree Man, a beautiful old tree found in Belmont , Western Australia. As a child this tree was & held great meaning to me, often I found myself sitting under this tree and over 30 years later I still take the time to rest & meditate and enjoy this amazing tree. I have used my photography to capture & create a unique  t-shirts designs  using tree faces I find
